Selling and Customer Service
 Has awareness of individual and branch targets and sales performance in relation to them
 Treats the customer as the primary focus at all times and is prepared to go out of their way to
meet the customers’ needs
 Exceed customer expectations and help ensure customers shop regularly at Hobbs by offering
sign up to the data base and using the Profile Cards
 Sells the collection with passion and enthusiasm
 Identifies and takes full advantage of all selling opportunities by actively, and without
prompting, approaching customers
 Uses the appropriate selling techniques, readily identifying different customer needs and
offering add on products with the aim of building multiple sales
 Has extensive product knowledge in order to offer confident and professional advice
 Ensure the telephone is answered promptly and professionally and that all queries are dealt
with efficiently

 Strive to continually meet and exceed KPIs for the branch
 Consistently drives themselves in a dynamic way to achieve targets
 Embraces change and sees it as an opportunity to develop and improve
 Uses feedback to improve performance
 Seeks opportunities to develop and learn and is committed to own training using Hobbs
methods and resources
 Exudes energy and enthusiasm with a ‘can-do’ approach

Commercial Awareness
 Aware of target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and branch performance against target
KPIs
 Aware of current best sellers and communicates these to customers as part of the selling
process
 Is consistently self motivated during peak and non-peak trading times
 Has an awareness of the current fashion trends
Living the Brand and the Brand Values
 Take pride in personal appearance and ensure that you are a brand ambassador in your daily
presentation
 Ensures immaculate presentation of branch in terms of cleanliness and tidiness, and that the
back of house also meets the standards expected
 Is an ambassador for the brand, presenting a positive and professional approach both
internally and externally to the business
Branch Operations
 Learn and follow the Hobbs Daily Routine and replenishment systems
 Ensure that the sales floor is replenished at all times
 Processes sales through the till accurately, with care and attention
 Maintain consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards at all times
 Practices excellent stock control and is aware of potential shoplifters and informs
management of anything suspicious
 Ensures that all company administrative work is dealt with accurately in a timely manner
 Ensure adherence at all times to company security procedures and policies, maintain a safe
working environment and adhering to all regulations under the Health and Safety at Work Act
