Love Food Festival

21 MARCH, 6 JUNE & 19 SEPTEMBER 2010

This Award-Winning indoor and outdoor market comes back to Paintworks to celebrate the best of West Country products also in 2010. Already established as a truly family event, the aim of the festival is to get children (and adults) from Bristol, out into the countryside learning about how and where our food should come from, how to grow and cook their own food and generally try to spark an interest in the topic through various mediums including hands on experience, tasting, art, movement and storytelling.

In addition to an annual May Festival, we run special events throughout the year, featuring a diverse range of lectures and panel debates with scientists, artists, politicians, journalists, historians, musicians, novelists and commentators on all subjects. In association with Arts & Business, the second annual Bristol Festival of Ideas Book Prize will be awarded in May 2010 to the book which is considered to present new, important and challenging ideas, which is rigorously argued, and which is engaging and accessible.
